SAFETY VALVES

GAS SAFE REGISTER TM1
Low Pressure Cut-off Valves, Straight With UPSO

Safety valves which cut off the gas following a loss of inlet pressure. The valves may be manually reset. The valves should only be reset after inlet pressure has been restored and any taps and/or valves have been checked closed. It is in theory possible to re-pressurise the system if there is an escape path smaller than the 1 mm bypass valve. The valves shut at the preset value of 15 mbar (6" wg). They must be mounted upright in horizontal pipework.

Maximum inlet pressure: 100 mbar.
Operating temperature range: -20 °C to 70 °C.
Cut-off pressure: 15 mbar (6" wg).
Threads: BSP female to BS 21 (ISO 7-1).

Pressure Relief Valves, Straight

Safety valves which help prevent excess pressure in an installation. They operate automatically and reset at their set pressure. Our stock items have a set pressure of 21 mbar and a relief pressure of 50 mbar; that is to say, they will vent off if a pressure of 50 mbar is reached, resetting the pressure at 21 mbar ; The relief pressure may be adjusted by removing the cap and turning a screw; the relief pressure cannot exceed the set pressure by more than 150 mbar (60" wg). Valves may be mounted in horizontal or vertical pipework.

Operating temperature range: -20 °C to 70 °C.
Threads: BSP female to BS 21 (ISO 7-1).
