For an MDPE connection to steel pipe to meet British Gas plc specification GIS/PL3 an anti-shear sleeve must be fitted to the MDPE joint. The sleeves are 250 mm long; P/N 9850 is suitable for 20 mm MDPE pipe, P/N 9851 is suitable for 25 mm and 32 mm MDPE pipe. For Natural Gas and LPG.
