GAS FIRE ISOLATION VALVES

Time-saving new restrictors. Designed to cut gas fire installation time by having 8 mm compression inlets, and by attaching either directly to the gas fire elbow or to 8 mm copper or bundy tube. Ideal for concealed fixing. The 1/4" BSP male flare fits directly to Robinson Willey fires, including the Visa range, as well as Valor and Cannon appliances, while the M16 flare fits directly to older Robinson Willey designs. The restrictor with the test point may ease contract servicing. With all five restrictors the gas can be completely isolated using an internal fitted screw. This provides a servicing valve as required by the Gas Regulations. Brass, with brass finish. All valves are fitted with a bonded seal under the top screw. Tested in the UK by a BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000 registered company. Tested in compliance with the European Gas Appliance Directive by British Gas.

RESTRICTORS

Brass restrictors for gas fire installations, having 1/4" BSP taper female BS 21 inlets, and 8 mm or 12 mm compression outlets. The restrictors are supplied complete with compression nuts and olives. 8 mm and 12 mm gas fire tubes can be found by clicking this link: Gas Fire Tubes. Washers : The washer under the top screw has traditionally been made of red fibre. British Gas specified a bonded seal for this purpose; this is a plated steel washer with rubber-type material bonded to it.The restrictors below have either fibre or PTFE washers unless otherwise stated. All restrictors below are for use with Natural Gas. Only restrictors with bonded seals are for use with LPG.
