DOUBLE ARMOURED HOSES

A nitrile hose first covered with galvanised steel braiding, then strip-wound with galvanised steel over the braiding. A white polyolefin cover is optional. Maximum working pressure: 250 p.s.i., or 20 mbar if bayonet type. Temperature range: -30 °C to 90 °C; or 70 °C when fitted with polyolefin cover. NOTE with bayonet hoses the pressure limit is fixed by the bayonet plug and socket. The socket is identical to that used on domestic cooker fitments and is designed to operate at a nominal inlet pressure of 20 mbar (0.29 p.s.i.), tested to 50 mbar at a maximum temperature of 95 °C.

STEEL CONVOLUTED HOSES

Flexible metallic hose assemblies to BS EN ISO 10380 : 2003. The flexible hose is stainless steel, the end fittings stainless steel or carbon steel. The stainless steel ends are identified below.
These hoses are suitable for Natural Gas, LPG, water and steam (but not for potable water). Assembly temperature range : -20 °C to 70 °C. Polyolefin cover is white or yellow according to stock.
NOTE : With bayonet hoses the pressure limitations are fixed by the bayonet plug and socket. The socket is identical to that used on domestic cooker fitments and is designed to operate at a nominal inlet pressure of 20 mbar (0.294 p.s.i.).

RADIANT HEATER HOSES

Stainless steel unbraided flexible gas connectors for the final connection to Gas-fired Radiant and Warm Air Heaters. The annular corrugated hose is 321 stainless steel, the couplings are carbon steel. These hoses are suitable for Natural Gas and LPG. They meet the requirements of BS 6896 Specification for installation of gas-fired overhead radiant heaters for industrial and commercial heating (2nd and 3rd family gases), provided the pressure class of hose is appropriate for the particular installation. Temperature range : -20 °C to 600 °C.
