The SF 350EN carbon monoxide alarm is designed for a five-year life under normal operating conditions and is approved and kitemarked to the European Standard EN 50291 : 2001. No maintenance is required during the life of the alarm ; no batteries, sensors or other parts will need replacing in that time. When the alarm is sounding the batteries will last up to 5 days - after this time the alarm will need to be replaced. Mains wiring is not required ; batteries supplied are pre-fitted. Alarm is an 85 decibel (at 3 m) buzzer and a visual warning. Alarm levels ; 50 ppm between 60 and 90 minutes, 100 ppm between 10 and 40 minutes and 300 ppm less than 3 minutes. There is a test facility, a self-check function and an end of detector life audible warning. Operating temperature range is -10 °C to +40 °C. Humidity range 30 to 90% RH. May be wall mounted with fixing kit provided, or be free standing, therefore suitable for use in the home and on holiday. | |||||||||||

The SF 340E series of carbon monoxide detectors incorporate a unique module replacement system. There are no main unit replacement costs, just a simple clip in module to replace once every 5 years. This results in low ownership costs and minimal maintenance. Locking screws ensure that only authorised persons can gain access to the unit. The SF 340F (230 V AC) and SF 340J (12/24 V DC) units offer all the benefits of the SF 340E above with the addition of relay outputs which enable the operation of gas valves, linking to security systems, sounding remote alarms... etc. These units can also be linked together in series which means that if one alarm is activated then all the alarms linked to it will be activated. |

The DICON CO 850Mi alarm is approved to BS EN 50291. It measures the concentration of carbon monoxide and sounds a loud alarm when a potentially harmful level is reached.
