Tankmaster

Four-in-one level gauge designed to comply with BS 799-2:1991. For fitting to steel or plastic oil heating storage tanks (adaptors available for plastic tanks see below). Eliminates the need for a separate gate valve, level gauge, filter, fire valve and a number of pipe fittings. Will run two boilers provided combined flow does not exceed 8 gallons/hour.

Sight Gauges

These gauges give a clear reading of tank contents. Unbreakable sight tube supplied in lengths to suit tank depth. Fitted with a self-closing valve designed to comply with BS 799 Part 2. The unit has been accepted by major oil companies.

PRESSURE GAUGE MANIFOLD

Used in conjunction with a pressure or vacuum gauge for testing pumps on oil burners. Protects the gauges used with it against surges of pressure on initial tests.

WATER GAUGE PASTE

KOLOR KUT is a water gauge paste that shows the depth of water under oil and fuels in storage tanks. Used with a dipping rod, paste is smeared on the lower end then inserted into the tank. A colour change indicates depth of water under the fuel.

OIL TANK DRYER

The oil tank dryer sits inside the tank and comes with a 2.3m cord and fixing clip. It absorbs water out of kerosene, diesel, petrol and biofuels up to B100. The dryer can absorb up to 350 ml of water and we suggest the dryer is checked every site visit and replaced when it is full. Can be used in hydraulic tanks, storage tanks, transfer tanks and saddle tanks with a 2" diameter or larger opening.

TANK DRYERS

To remove condensation from fuel tanks. To use, lower the tank dryer into the tank, attach using the 3 m cord (ensure it’s sitting on the bottom of the tank). When the tank dryer has fully absorbed any water, the nylon bladder expands into the mesh containment tube. Check monthly. 300 mm long. When dryer is fully expanded it should be replaced.

OIL LEVEL MONITOR

The Apollo ultrasonic oil tank and monitoring system enables the user to check the oil level in a tank at a glance. The unit will easily fit all plastic or steel tanks up to 3 metres in height, no probe necessary. Independent FM transmitter and receiver, transmits up to 200 metres, automatic reset after power failure. Lithium battery supplied. OFTEC approved and CE marked. The tank transmitter will fit a drilled hole 20mm or 32mm diameter.

ULTRASONIC OIL LEVEL MONITOR

The Watchmansonic is an electronic monitor that allows you to check the level inside your oil storage tank from inside your office or home. A transmitter is fitted to the top of the tank, which senses the level of oil. Its small transmitter (battery supplied) sends this information out on a regular radio signal up to 200m (in normal ‘line in sight’ conditions). The Watchmansonic receiver is plugged into an electrical mains socket and the LCD visual display shows the liquid level. The tank transmitter requires a 32mm diameter hole for fixing.

OIL LEVEL MONITOR & ALARM

The 'Watchmanalarm' is an electronic measuring and alarm gauge. The transmitter sits on top of the tank, and measures a tank up to 3 m high. Suitable for steel or plastic, bunded or single skin tanks. Transmits information to LCD receiver, plugged into an electric socket, located in home/ office no further than 200 m away. Rapid drop of oil level, receiver emits siren noise, indicating leak or theft of oil.

HIGH LEVEL AND BUND ALARMS

HYTEK compact bund/high level alarms are a system consisting of a weighted float switch that is connected to a 3 metre fuel resistant cable, to a weatherproof (IP 65) high-level alarm box containing the visual and audible alarm (97 db at 1 m). Designed to provide visual and audible alarms whenever a predetermined fuel (heating oil, diesel and biodiesel blends up to B100) level is reached in a plastic tank. Battery supplied, (PP3 x 1).

OIL SPILL KIT

A kit to clean up minor oil spillages of up to 15 litres, particularly during deliveries. Suitable for tankers, diggers, construction and agricultural vehicles, workshops and factories. Kits meet requirements of Road Traffic Act Regulations 1992, which state that a quantity of absorbent material must be available as a contingency against spills during the delivery of petrol.

OIL EXTRACTION VACUUM PUMPS

The oil extraction vacuum pump is ideal to empty drip trays, tank cabinets, bunds or to suck up fuel spills, water or oil. Can be stored at the fill point/tank or in the fill point cabinet. To use prime the handle and suck up the fluid automatically. When full, remove the top plug to pour out the contents.
