A/C & Refrigeration - Insulation

CLASS O INSULATION

A flexible, closed cell, elastomeric, nitrile rubber insulation with in-built anti-microbial protection and vapour barrier. It is a highly efficient method of insulating internal hot and cold water services, heating systems, chilled water lines and refrigeration pipework for frost protection, energy conservation and condensation control. It is dust, fibre and CFC free with an ODP of zero which means an environmentally friendly product; outdoor applications require a special paint finish for weather protection.

SPECIFICATION :
Surface temperature range:               -50 to 105°C.
Thermal conductivity: to EN ISO 8497:1997.
Water vapour permeability to BS EN ISO 9346:1996.
Fire propagation:                                to BS 476-6:1989.
Surface spread of flames:                   to BS 476-7:1997.
Noise reduction:                                  to ISO 354:2003 up to 0.8.
