ESSEX brass or DZR flanges provide a BSP parallel female or compression outlet from a hot water cylinder or tank, without brazing. The flanges can be fitted entirely from outside the cylinder ; the only preparation is the cutting of the hole.
P/Ns 12264, 12265, 12666, 17541, and 17785 may be used on the curved wall of the cylinder, a flat surface, or the top of a domed cylinder - without the need for curved washers.
P/N 12267 is an inclined flange for fixing immersion heaters to domed cylinders. The slanting body enables a long heater element to be fixed in a more vertical position.
P/Ns 17541 and 17785 are straight through (slip through) and are suitable for pump-assisted shower connections.
P/N 18637 2.1⁄4" brass flat tank flange suitable for flat surface fixing of immersion heaters.
All of the Essex flanges are supplied with two ‘SX’ cork washers, which are suitable for temperatures up to 120 °C.
