PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES

WRc plc Listed to BS 6283 : part 4. Pressure reducing valves designed for use in potable water or compressed air systems. NOTE: If any item downstream of the valve cannot withstand the full inlet pressure applied to the valve, adequate pressure relief should be provided upstream of such item. Valves are made principally of bronze or DZR brass, with EPDM seats. They are of spring-loaded EPDM diaphragm type.


Temperature and pressure ratings :
Maximum inlet pressure : 25 bar (367 p.s.i.).
Maximum continuous working temperature : 80 °C
Maximum pressure reduction ratio : 10:1.
Minimum inlet pressure should be at least 1.75 bar (25 p.s.i.) higher than the selected outlet pressure.
P/N 9433/4/5 have adjustable outlet pressure in the range 2-6 bar (29.3-88 p.s.i.) and are supplied set at approximately 4 bar (60 p.s.i.). P/N 9241 has range of 0.5-2.5 bar (7-37 p.s.i.) and is supplied set at approximately 1.5 bar (22 p.s.i.). Threads are BSP parallel female inlet and outlet (to BS 2779).

CONDENSATE REMOVAL PUMP, SAUERMAN

The SAUERMAN SI 1820 high capacity impeller tank pump is designed to collect condensate from condensing boilers, air conditioning systems and refrigeration display cases, with or without drain pans. BOILER CONDENSATE PUMP

The pump has been designed to remove room temperature condensate draining from condensing boilers. Controlled by a float/switch mechanism, which turns the pump on to discharge the condensate, volt free high level safety switch contacts.

DIFFERENTIAL BY-PASS VALVES

WRc approved. This valve is very effective in systems where various heating loads may simultaneously be excluded from the circuit because of the closing of control or zone valves. It ensures a recirculation proportional to the number of valves that close avoiding noise and maintaining the head of the pump at a constant value. Fitted between flow and return, it helps prevent unnecessary cycling of the boiler.

The ABV-1 automatic bypass and differential pressure valve with differential pressure indicator is used to maintain constant differential pressure in a heating system. It reduces flow noise as thermostatic radiator valves are closed. Fitted between the flow and return pipework, also helps to prevent unnecessary cycling of the boiler.

WATER PRESSURE EQUALISING VALVE

Equalises hot and cold water pressure by automatically adjusting the higher water pressure to balance with the lower. Easy to install and ideal for rest homes, hotels, and sports clubs. For shower mixers, bath/shower mixers, single lever mixers, bidet mixers and other processes needing constant water temperature. The mixer must be designed to operate on equal pressure. The valve will equalize pressure on multi-point/combi or fully modulating gas boilers, gravity systems, mains pressure hot water cylinders, or any hot water system which provides constant temperature output. The water heating system must provide water at constant temperature.

Calibration accuracy : ± 3%. Base cover and knob made from shock-resistant thermoplastic material. Enclosure protection IP 4O. Supplied with thermoplastic sealed gland for cable entry. Mains operated. All measurements on diagrams below are in millimetres.

Cylinder Thermostat

For strapping to cylinder or pipework of a domestic heating installation. Strap supplied. Also included is a plastic coated spring wire, with hook and eye, for fitting round the cylinder.

RF PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT

The Towerstat T105 RF programmable thermostat and receiver unit can replace common residential thermostats and is designed to be used with gas, electric or oil heating control systems. The thermostat is separated into two units. The receiver serves for wiring connections and heating on/off control. The programmer thermostat serves as the user interface and temperature sensing control. The two units are linked by radio frequency.
