CUPROFIT PUSH-FIT FITTING SYSTEM, BRASS

The Cuprofit push-fit fitting system from IBP CONEX has been designed for use with hard, half-hard and soft copper tube, plus polyethylene (PE-X) and polybutylene (PB) pipe. Manufactured from a copper or DZR brass body and incorporates an EPDM ‘O’ ring plus gripping and release mechanisms. The design offers a leak-proof, tamper resistant yet demountable connection, capable of operating at a working pressure of 16 bar. The fittings can be used on drinking water and other hot and cold water systems, including central heating. All products are WRAS, DVGW and KIWA approved. Manufactured to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 standard, each fitting is permanently marked with >B< and the size.

IBP Conex copper telescopic connectors are offered in two forms, single and double leg fittings. Suitable as an expansion joint, repair fitting or an infill connector. Note : these fittings do not maintain electrical continuity, so appropriate strapping must be used where required.

OYSTER™ FITTING SYSTEM, BRASS

The brass Oyster converter is an easy fit termination connection for use on heating and potable water systems. It is used to connect copper tube to female threaded fittings, radiators and valves. The female fitting needs to have a flat sealing face. If its does not, a traditional thread sealing method could be used.

Manufactured from brass, it features two EPDM 'O' rings, one sealing the tube o.d and the other the fitting face. The Oyster is retained on the tube by dimpling the tube end with the appropriate pliers.

Compatible with copper tube to EN 1057 in R220 (soft), R250 (half hard) and R290 (hard) condition. Not suitable for gas applications.
