Pipe & Fittings - JG Speedfit

SPEEDFIT

JG SPEEDFIT push-fit fittings are suitable for use with copper and plastic pipe but must not be used with stainless steel pipe. Fully inserted pipe inserts must be used on all installations with JG SPEEDFIT cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) barrier pipe. The JG SPEEDFIT range now incorporates push-fit and Twist and Lock fittings. They are suitable for most water supply systems, mains fed or indirect cold water, vented and unvented hot water systems and vented or sealed central heating systems (provided temperatures and pressures comply with BS 7291-1, 2 and 3:2010 Class S).
NOTE : Where a fitting is suitable for central heating systems this is stated in the text below. JG SPEEDFIT fittings and pipe are WRAS approved. Colour : white.

PIPE REPAIR KITS

JG SPEEDFIT pipe repair kits have been designed for 15 and 22 mm rigid plastic or copper pipe without altering existing pipework. Suitable for domestic hot or cold water and central heating systems. Appropriate tube support must be used with plastic pipe. Working water pressures : 12 bar at 20°C, 6 bar at 65°C, 3 bar at 92°C. Minimum working temp. : 1°C WRAS approved.

JG SPEEDFIT UNDERGROUND FITTINGS

JG SPEEDFIT underground fittings are suitable for the connection of 20 mm and 25 mm polyethylene pipe and should be used for cold water applications only. The procedure for connecting and disconnecting an underground fitting is similar to that for JG SPEEDFIT plumbing fittings. However, pipe inserts must be used in every connection. The fittings below are NOT suitable for central heating systems.
