316 (L) Stainless Steel Tube For Compression Fittings

Stainless steel seamless tube to ASTM A269 - 316L. Tested and marked to ASTM A450. Suitable for high pressures, vacuums, impulsing and pressure surge applications. May be hydraulically bent in machine. Not suitable for potable water until the inside of the tube has been cleaned. These tubes are suitable for use with compression fittings. They are not suitable for threading ; for threading applications Schedule 40 (SCH 40) tube is used. See below for SCH 40 tube. Manufactured in the UK by a BS EN ISO 9001:2008 registered company.

Stainless steel tube to ASTM A312, to Schedule 40 (SCH 40). 1/4" and 3/8" are seamless, the other sizes are welded. 316 STAINLESS STEEL SINGLE FERRULE METRIC COMPRESSION FITTINGS

These fittings are generally known as DIN 2353 Single Ferrule fittings. Designed for use with stainless steel tubes. Ideal for installations where secure leak proof joints are essential. Manufactured in the UK by a BS EN ISO 9001:2008 registered company. The metric compression sizes given below refer to the size (outside diameter) of the tube which accepts the fitting. Maximum working pressure range @ 30°C : 6 - 12 mm 250 bar, 15 - 22 mm 160 bar, 28 - 42 mm 100 bar.
