ESSEX brass flange provides a BSP parallel female thread outlet from a hot water cylinder or tank, without brazing. The flange can be fitted entirely from outside the cylinder; the preparation is the cutting of the hole.
May be used on the curved wall of the cylinder, a flat surface or the top of a domed cylinder - without the need for curved washers.
Supplied with two ‘SX’ cork washers which are suitable for temperatures up to 120°C.
