TOOLS. Universal tools will only attach to Universal rods and Lockfast tools only to Lockfast rods. The sizes 4" and 6" refer to the minimum size of drain the tool will pass through.
The size represents the approx. outside diameter of the brush. 4", 5", 6" and 7" sizes are generally considered drain or flue brushes, the larger sizes are suitable for flues and chimneys. The standard size for chimneys is 16".
