Coupling body is "valved" internally with direction of gas flow towards the nozzle end; by sliding back the knurled collar a hose nozzle (P/N 8840) would be released and the valve would closed. Different appliances may be used from the one coupling body by buying more than one hose nozzle P/N 8840.
