COVID

Throughout the pandemic at BES we have maintained a positive ‘business as usual’ attitude without jeopardising the safety of our employees or customers. Our next day delivery service has continued despite extremely tough conditions, in part due to our long standing relations with our courier network. This has ensured that our excellent service levels have not dropped.

Please see the ‘product news’ section within this newsletter for a selection of ‘stay safe’ products. Due to COVID it’s no surprise that we’ve seen increased demand for products that help people combat COVID19. One particular range that continues to be in high demand is our infrared sensor taps. At BES we stock a number of these innovative taps.

Website Update

As mentioned in the introduction of this newsletter one significant improvement for BES during 2020 was the further development of the BES website.

Having listened to customer feedback we recognize that making the user experience as ‘user friendly’ as possible is very important. This is why our shopping basket has been improved significantly.

The BES website responsiveness has also been improved when using mobile devices.

However, we recognize that the website is not the finished article and will continue to improve and evolve, adapting to ever changing market conditions. By listening to your feedback and monitoring web analytics we know that even very minor changes can make a big difference. This is why our team constantly update the site visually and improve its overall performance.

The ultimate aim is to make our web user experience as easy as possible. We believe we are firmly heading in the right direction but please let us know if there are areas that can be further improved.

Exhibition update

Sadly due to COVID-19 all the exhibitions that BES were booked into were postponed.

However, rest assured normal business will resume beyond 2020 and we look forward to seeing you at PHEX or the National Homebuilding Show.

Charity

Earlier in the year BES supported Sport Relief. The event proved very popular indeed. A special thank you to everybody that participated.

The total sum raised for ALL charitable causes since 2018 now totals over £2000.
