Omat® is manufactured from heavy density glass weave fibre. The cut out shape enables the mat to be wrapped around pipework, reducing the risk of damage to the surroundings when using a gas torch. The mat will withstand temperatures up to 600ºC and will provide protection in most soldering and brazing work.
