Quelfire® QWR fire stop seals and Quelfire® QWW Intuwraps prevent the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases through plastic pipes which penetrate fire compartment walls and floors. They are suitable for any type of building where a fire compartment wall or floor is penetrated by plastic pipes of 40 - 110 mm overall diameter. STANDARD Specification CLAUSE. Install correct size Quelfire® QWR and QWW. Install in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. Material tested to BS476-20:1987 to maintain fire resistance of up to 4 hours.
QWR FIRE STOP SEALS should be secured to the structure using suitable fixings. 4 hour resistance when so mounted and in accordance with instructions.
