Tempering Valve Safety Temperature Reduction 1/2" BSP

Tempering Valves are safety devices designed to protect against scalding at outlets primarily used for personal hygiene. They are designed to control temperature in water mixing applications and safely reduce temperature to 55 to 60°C. Can be used in systems where the water in the storage cylinder can reach temperatures significantly above 60°C, for example if heated by solar heating. They are used with multiple outlets and frequently as part of a re-circulating domestic hot water system. Supplied with check valves and strainers.
