A new European Standard, EN 1057, has been published replacing BS 2871 : Part 1 : 1971. The sizes shown in Tables W, X, Y and Z have, however, not been altered. In the text below we give the new European Standard description alongside the British Standard. NOTE: the diameters on this page ALWAYS refer to the outside diameter of the copper tube.
