Using Gas Safety Report Pads
Gas safety pads provide a paper record of inspection and compliance checks for landlords and engineers. During an inspection, the Gas Safe registered engineer completes the report form, recording appliance details, results of safety checks (including flue testing and pressure measurements), and any defects or follow-up actions required. Copies are distributed to both the landlord and the engineer for record-keeping. “Do Not Use” forms are issued whenever an installation fails safety checks or presents an immediate risk, ensuring users are informed and appropriate action is taken before the appliance is used again.
