ACCESS PANELS

GL300 Access Panel

Manthorpe access panel with a fully detachable door provides easy access to hidden building services behind a ceiling or wall. The lightweight and easy to fit access panel is for use in domestic situations.
Manufactured from high-impact polystyrene, they have a smooth textured finish which can be painted over. For installation prepare a slightly oversized 300 mm square hole and secure the panel using a suitable adhesive.

Hinged Access Panel

Lightweight ABS access panel with bevelled picture frame, a glossy plastic surface which is non-decorative and a logo moulded into the hinged door. Press gently to close and use a flat head screwdriver to open. Secured to wall using a suitable adhesive.

Metal Fire Rated Access Panel

Metal fire rated picture frame access panel with a polyester powder coated finish, 3-way door locking system, concealed continuous hinge and intumescent door seal. Secured to either wall or ceiling using bolts or screws through the side of the inner frame. Manufactured from 1.2 and 1 mm zintec steel, tested and rated up to 1 hour integrity (ceiling), 2 hour integrity (wall) in accordance with EN 1634-1:2000.

Rigid white polypropylene injection moulded loft hatches suitable for new build and modernisation of existing buildings. Supplied either with push up lid or hinged down for use with loft ladder. Hinged down version supplied with factory assembled metal pin in plastic hinges, catch and seal. Designed to fit joists trimmed to 639 mm x 562 mm to give clear opening of 600 mm x 532 mm.

VENT-AXIA HEAT RECOVERY VENTILATORS, THROUGH WALL MOUNTING

The VENT-AXIA HR25 (previously Baxi) units provide balanced ventilation with heat recovery and are suitable for installation in bathrooms, toilets, kitchens and utility areas. The tubular unit is designed for continuous operation providing up to 80% heat recovery. Effectively controlling internal relative humidity the unit controls condensation and eliminates mould. The unit’s twin impeller and heat exchanger arrangements simultaneously supplies and extracts air while transferring heat from the stale exhaust airflow to the fresh intake airflow. Installation from inside of building in 6" (150 mm) core drilled hole. 230 V, transformed to 24 V DC. Air extraction 20 m³/hour (low), and 55 m³/hour (high).
