CURA heat pump ethylene glycol concentrate (with Bitrex) closed-loop anti-freeze with corrosion and scale inhibitors and biocide. Provides a wider operating temp. range than water alone along with excellent heat transfer properties.
For use with ground source and air source heat pump circuits that are diluted at point of use.
NOTE: NOT recommended for systems where cross contamination of either potable or domestic hot water could occur.
Preferentially, the product should be diluted with CURA Demineralised Water, softened water or mains (naturally soft or hard) water for the following concentration/frost protection:
min. 25% / -10°C,
30% / -14°C,
35% / -18°C,
40% / -22°C,
45% / -28°C,
max. 50% / -33°C.
The minimum dose rate to achieve the required protection is 25 litres per 100 litre (25%) system capacity. For GSHP circuits the recommended minimum dilution is 35%.
