Safety
There are three main types of gas safety valves. Valve 1 Pressure Relief valves, safety valves which help prevent excess pressure in an installation. Valve 2 Low Pressure Straight Cut-off Valves which cut off the gas following a loss of inlet pressure. Valve 3 Safety Magne-Flow Excess Flow Valve, a sudden increase in gas flow closes the valve, leaving a small by-pass flow.
